William is a loyal, kind man with a quick, sharp sense of humour and plenty of life experience. Fiercely intelligent, well‑travelled and well‑educated, he's still curious about the world and enjoys travelling, learning new things and meeting people with their own stories to tell. He's interested in politics and has even written articles for newspapers.
A big dog lover, he stays active thanks to his four‑legged companion, and he's the type who quietly looks out for the people he cares about.
He's completely self‑sufficient and brilliant in the kitchen- his granddaughters in the UK still go on about his cottage pie.
In his younger years he used to run ultramarathons, and he still managed a full marathon in 2012- proper determination.
